Bloke makes over 1100 runs for the season in both District and Futures League, 24 years old, and the ideal player to replace Quiney but they instead get a mediocre WA opener and let him go to Tassie.
Tom Beaton from WA also making the move across. Don't think he's been contracted by Victoria though.
Surely we can make an 11 out of modern day Vic/WA trades. Can Beaton keep?

Beaton did ok in the BBL last season , did he not? Wouldn't surprise me to see him play FC matches this season
