Yes Hawks took Buddy and Roughead early in Clarkson’s tenure but they then also picked up Dowler and Thorp as pick #6s the following 2 drafts. It’s more hit and miss with the talls (as above) so could see Clarkson looking to bring them in through trades.

I don't see Cadman going the way of Thorp and Dowler, unless it's injury related.

He works way too hard, is too athletically gifted and impacts the game in too many ways to be a bust.

No, he wasn't. In fact the only decent kick I saw was his hit up to Sheezel in the third quarter. Everything else was up and under with little penetration. Sure he can find the footy but he was a liability with it IMO. I hope Essendon aren't looking at him at pick 4

how did jhye clark go?

Was fine, showed a lot of aggression but didn't really have a huge impact and rarely had space to punish the Metro team.
Had Hollands and Hustwaite better for the Country side and probably two or three Metro mids (including Mackenzie and Tsatas) as well.

Totally disagree. He is tough & fair as I have seen. There was a free kick today I seen on replay that doesn’t look high but at the game live on the other side of ground from cameras it was clearly high.

Never seen someone dominate so much at junior level. He use to play under 12’s on the Friday night and then play under 14’s the next day and it was like he brought his own footy.

Also he comes from a very nice family

In general I was disappointed with the standard of kicking over the game. Humphrey for instance was really impressive in his attack on the ball, but once he got his hands on the ball his kicking let him down. Even his goal looked like he miskicked it. Reid was really impressive, even more so once I researched him and found out he isn't eligible until next year. I really liked how Gruzewski played. He took a heap of marks and looks like he could turn into an ideal Gunston replacement into the future
