Victoria playoff choke again

Well first it was against the tigers and now they have choked in the playoffs again ! And dont say it was because of injury ! If you had won game 1 on your home court like you should have then you would be in the finals and if you had beaten Melbourne like you should have then you would not be out like this
I just think it is sweet justice, I mean that prick goorjian is the most arrogant person around and Smyth would be just loving this, he are some memorable quotes from the team with nothing up stairs

Firstly from boy goorj after the tians were formed - "this is the dream team" - um yeah right, not one championship still and a history of choking when it counts

Then from anstey - " we are gonna win the semis 2-0 and then come out and kick the tigers a****" - yeah right big fella with the small brain, you look like the fool that you are now, dont ya ?

I cannot wait to see Boti Nagys column on thursday, no doubt he will tease the titans, but they deserve everything they get !

I don't post on this B/ball site often, but I love the 36ers, and I would have to say that they probably would not have won the game last night if Anstey and Wheeler had played. The Titans looked the better team. But the Basketball Gods smiled on the 36ers, so I'm not complaining.

The Titans do deserve credit for their performance in the last 2 games, but the rest I pretty much agree with.

Smythe was diplomatic with his comments.

They put up a tremendous effort. When you lose Anstey and then early in the game you lose Wheeler, just to hang in there . . . and they were ahead for a large portion of the game. You have to take your hat off and say they showed tremendous spirit.

Its arrogant in its nature, but now is not the time for complacency. Sure we defeated the Titans, but we dont have the title yet. There is no point back slapping for the moment, we are too close to the ultimate prize. Mind you, after Anstey's comments, it made a series win sweeter, but the bigger prize is still up for grabs.
