Always been curious about this.
What is the age of consent in Victoria?
A lot of my mates have always said that it's 16, but if you're 16 and 17, you can only have sex with other 16-17 year olds. Anyone over 18 is considered too old. An easier way to put it is that basically once you hit 18, you can only sleep with people 18 and older.
I've googled it then and it seems it is 16 plus. So being 16 and 25 is legally just as fine as being 61 and 64. Correct?

It seems that unless you are in a position of authority, like a step parent, teacher or coach, 16 is fine regardless of your age.
