If he could fix up his goal kicking, he'd be much more valuable than he currently is. That's the main problem with Mayne at the moment
Mayne was drafted years before Lyon came to the club. Nice try.
The issue with him these days is that his set shots have gone to s**t. If he recaptures his old accuracy, he'd be a whole different player.
Is this thread serious? Mayne is terrible.
He is a shocking shot at goal and kicks what 20 goals a season as a permanent forward?

I actually reckon he would be a good addition at Melbourne - he seems like the kind of guy who will be rubbish in a poor team (which is what Fremantle are right now), but in a team that plays attacking footy and loves the physical side of the game, he could be very handy.

Mayne is nothing more than a very average footballer. Surprised that so many Victorian clubs are reportedly interested in him, and I hope Carlton is not one of them.

Playing in a good team does that. Who is to say Fitzpatrick won't follow suit?
Just don't see it but here's hoping. Didn't see it with Ceglar either but he could easily be a two-time premiership player
