Howard Leigh (the Pies Supporter), Stephen J Peake (Saints)Yeap - they're old Xavier toffs. One supports Saints, the other the Pies. They're into boxing I think. Howard xxxxx and xxxxx Peak. They're on SEN - gladiators of sport, after 12.00 some nights.
Not sure how they got the gig. I would've thought you'd get a dogs follower.
Why do ask?

The MC is Matt Lee who produces some of the shows on SEN.
He is a dogs supporter.
The reason I ask is that the older guy is a disgrace. They had Smorgan on, followed by Aker & Johnno. That was fine (apart from the fact that the old boy is sooooo LOUD). Then poor old Sam Power got up and a few people had started to leave by then and chat amongst themselves. Rather than just ignoring it, the old loudmouth made a point of telling people to listen to Power as if no one wanted to. The crowd are also asked to give 3 cheers at the end of each speaker and the old boy made out no one was cheering for Power. It must have been so disheartening for Sam. I felt so embarrassed. Not because I thought the crowd was treating Power badly, but the old boy made a point of acting as if they were. I know Power is much maligned by a lot of us, but no one is going to be disrespectful to the guy if his best just ain't good enough.
He's not like Wayne Campbell (who, incidentally, got a couple of boos from the crowd when he appeared on stage - which I thought was probably appropriate!)
Smorgon said the club had made a profit this year.
