Video content on Optus

Hi all,

Thought it would be good to have a thread where we could discuss anything within the video content of the shows that appear on Optus.

There looks to be several shows each week.

• Countdown to kick-off
• Fantasy Premier League show (just watched this, thought it was decent)
• Premier League preview (weekly)
• Fanzone
• Match Pack
• PL Focus
• PL World

I believe there's several review shows as well that will become available after the game week closes.

PL world is good, so is the Preview show, watched that before. Nice to know it's accessible at any point on phone.

Watched Match Pack before - really great preview show if you're into numbers and statistics. Worth checking out.

The 25min daily shows are decent as well. Nice, easy way to get a daily wrap of things.

It's a good question. I thought they would have as it's a PL production show but I can't find it on there.

Match pack is pretty similar though, just looks at it slightly different.

All the classic matches are the same that were scerened on Foxtel previously and Premier League world is also on Optus which was on Foxtel previously. Do really miss Matchday Saturday with Slater, Bosnich & Peackock.


Don't mind the legends shows at all, but many of them are on youtube anyway.

The Pires one is great. Have watched the Sol, Wright and Zola ones too.

Think I have seen the Owen one before as well. Gotta get round to watching the other ones.

The analysis shows are decent. Was watching Football Today (Friday's one) and they are fairly interesting. Phil Neville is decent in the role as well.

They're good, but a new one each day for 80 mins is just too hard to keep up with every day.

Agreed. I'm just picking and choosing which days I watch.
