Villain of the week:

JARRAD SCHOFIELD (Fremantle) - The Dockers' self-destructed yet again on Saturday night to maintain their reputation as the AFL's most frustrating and inconsistent team.

A week after downing Geelong at Geelong, the Dockers crashed to a Brisbane side widely considered to be on their last legs in Perth and no-one self destructed more than veteran Schofield, whose dreadful error in the final term cost the Dockers any chance of victory.

Schofield elected to kick short in defence and across goal and his kick wobbled only about 20 metres to Brisbane youngster Joel McDonald, who slammed through the sealing goal for a win that keeps the Lions' season alive.
All the same I'd put money on his inclusion this weekend.

Ohh, I thought this was going to be about Goldspink!

On the subject tho, as average as he's been, he is improving and we do desperately need his pace, and general good use of the ball.

I find it quite amazing how Macca turned it over 6 or 7 times last week and 4 times this week and a big deal is made of the Schofield one.

Schofield played alright. Yes that kick was bad. But their were numerous other faults by other players.
