It looks like Vinokourov has reversed his decision to retire. He is back training in the hope to ride the Tour of Lombardy in October. I assume if he gets through that okay he will continue next year.
This is good news. It would have been a shame to see him go out of the sport on a negative note from the crash. Hopefully, just hopefully he can get the yellow jersey in the Tour next year and pick up a few wins in other races if he rides on.
I thought he would ride on. The guy has too much pride to go out on a s**t note.
