Yeah good but not great, more than enough to go on with though & enjoyed it, the building collapsing at the end really caught me by surprise & was based on fact interestingly enough.

Otherwise yeah I don't know it has a weird vibe to it.... Not being involved in the 70's probbly makes it hard to relate to.

Will watch a few more esp before making a judgement either way.

Ray Romano was an interesting casting choice.

I keep picturing a giant mammoth.

But the first two eps were brilliant. Cannavale brilliant performance. The scenes with New York Dolls were great as well. Good acting all round. I'm sold.
 
It's watchable, will give it a chance. I just found the whole hotel falling down because of the 'power of rock' clichéd and s**t. Also, that punk band from England? Pish and the lead singer complete with the leather jacket. Not much of a Sid Viscous rip off at all...
 
First Ep - had me hooked
Second Ep - meh

I've never watched mad men but I think I better
