I thought they stopped making Violet Crumbles years ago, hard to believe enough people buy them to keep them alive.

What do you enjoy, Bomberboyokay ?
True, I'd never contemplate ever buying a Crunchie outside of Favourites (same for Moro, which would come a long way behind a Mars Bar, Whip, etc.). As a standalone bar in a competitive market they can't sell well, other than monopolising the market of hard honeycomb fiends.
In today's day and age, if resorting to a chocolate bar you are probably hungry and well in-between meals, so something like a Mars, Snickers, Boost or Picnic will catch the eye, maybe a Europe Nougat or Honey Log bar, or alternatively a Cherry Ripe or Turkish Delight or the like as a luxury. I've never had a Crunchie/VC craving in my life, I'd sooner pick something flimsy like a Flake or Aero over that lot.
Personally, I'd much rather something like a Carmans muesli bar.
It's no Polly Waffle, though.violet crumble is way better than crunchie, but give me a chokito any day

Turkish Delight shits on everything.
Violet Crumbles are the bomb. Definitely better than Crunchie, and one of the all time great showbags at the Royal Adelaide Show.
