Came 31st last week :thumbsu: and that saw me jump to 356 overall. Look set to make another big climb this week aswell, currently on 164 and only 2 people in all my leagues have scored more!

Can't take a trick this late in the season

Still only 1 point off the lead & playing the bottom side.

My opposition's forwards both score hatricks & to make it worse have Suarez as captain." Un friggin believable" 96 points from 2 players

Anybody got any smokey moves I can make with my last 2 trades?

Anyone who has both Suarez and Torres doesn't know what they're doing, especially if they make one captain.

I don't know what trades you should make. What does your team look like?

De Gea - Reina

Walker - Vermaelan - M.Richards - Taiwo - Jones

Nani - Dempsey - Mata - Bale - Nasri

RVP - Rooney - Ba

$230,000 only left & 2 Trades

Any Comp winning moves staring at me?

God damn it, didnt realize it was double gameweek and kept Valencia captain :(

It's a good team. I don't want to give you advice since I've been screwing up my own trades & it costs me points occasionally.

Hey guys,
I hope everybody recovered from the crazy double week :)
But now it's time to focus on Manchester-based players again, right? Both will want to work on their goal difference!

Btw, would you forgive me a bit of off-topic, concerning a broader question regarding EPL fantasy? Here it comes, apologies if you consider it strictly off-topic.

I have quite a tricky conceptual problem: can management and fantasy be combined? I'd love to hear what you guys think.

Let's start from the beginning. I've tried both, and found them unsatisfactory eventually (the FM part took a decade or so, but that's a different story). Now I've decided to take things in my own hands and I'm trying to create simple games that combine the best parts of each one, or - in other words - create a bridge between gaming and what you see on the telly. Which are said best parts?

Management:
long-term planning
complex financial model
laws of supply and demand
realistic team selection
in-depth performance analysis

Fantasy:
real-life results and career paths
pure multiplayer

The links are below in case you're interested in more details of my attempt to create such a game. But more importantly, I'd love to hear whether you see any conceptual problems. I suspect there are some I can't quite see.
Cheers,
Daniel

BigFooty Div 1 finished 9th overall. I came 29th overall - much better than last year. What about you other guys?

In the game I described above, we're nearing season 2! Here comes a quick reminder:

In All-Europe Football we have five separate leagues for the five major European soccer competitions:

Contracts up to 5 years, transfers, loans, Champions League, all that jazz:

Season 2 starts this summer, with possible additions of a second division in England and Fantrax scoring. Interested in at least 1 country? Sign up here:
