That Sri Lankan team blew a golden opportunity that test. Arguably their best ever batting side on paper to tour here and get to bat first on a great wicket and they barely get past 50 overs.

At least Sangakkara stood up. He looked even better in the second innings before retiring hurt.

Yeah that was very disappointing. Dilshan, Sangakkara, Jayawardene, Samaraweera, Mathews. Nearly 40,000 Test runs between them...

They actually referred to this entire series against the Windies.

I hope the Windies are getting some real payback of that is happening.

Although last test unfolded differently, I'm sick of seeing the exact same plot in every game.

-Australia bat first and put up a big score
-Other team bats
-Australia bat again, regardless of the lead, make a quickfire 200-300 and put the other team in sometime between lunch and tea on day 4
-Other team tries to cling on for a draw in an extremely boring final day

I see this scenario playing out again today. Yawn
