He's never going to have pace.Wrong build for it mate.
This doesn't mean you can't play midfield.Ask Greg Williams Mitchell Hodge just off the cup.
I've got great hopes for Floss,but he's just a kid so time is on his side.
I see where you're coming from though that he still needs to work hard on his attacking side.
This could not be his fault though as most players have become more defensive under DH

Nick Vlastuin turns 21 today, playing his 3rd season at the top level already with 41 games to his name, stands 187cm & weighs 86kg. IMO this kid is not that far off being moved into the midfield rotation on permanent basis. We've seen the glimpses over the last 12 months with the odd cameo appearance in the midfield that got many a fan a little aroused at the potential of him being a full time mid.

The problem has been that he is currently required at HB to give us a bit of hardness and class down back. IMO I reckon that when Conca comes back into the line up we'll see Vlastuin go into the midfield and McIntosh go to HB with Conca taking the wing. That would give us improved rebound from the D50(McIntosh), more hardness around the stoppages(Vlastuin) and creativeness around the ground(Conca).

Conca seems significantly worse than McIntosh, why would you play the worse player in the more crucial position?

He's a funny one Conca. I obviously don't rate him. Others really do.

Aa for Vlastuin, pretty sure he's carrying an injury. Like with all of our players, he's coached to within an inch of his life. I'd be interested to see how he'd go if some of the restrictions of the territory were lifted. Reckon he has some really great competitive instincts that could take him a long way. I think we'll see it happen, just not sure when.

Not enough of a tank to be the kind of midfielder he will become yet. Ben Cunnington is what we should hope for and he's only really kicking in now.

Disagree you need a bigger tank as a rebounder, as he isn't really a rebounder say like houli. I think once we can get some coverage in his position, he will go into the midfield.

I agree. He just isn't that impressive. He's tough, but his skills are shaky and he lacks pace/agility when defending. He really hasn't improved since his first year.

Gotta move him to the midfield. Even if his tank isn't ready it will do wonders for his tank long term. Almost like a pre season throughout the season.

not fit or smart enough yet would say 95%
he is carrying a minor ankle and/or groin niggle. have watched him barges in ok but his lateral movement looks restricted.

Jury is still out for mine . No disrespect to the guy but he is a typical FJ pick.
Nothing elite , can't jump , yet good in most areas whilst capable of the occasional brain fade
