FitzroyJamesDio,

No-one springs to mind that will take votes off him.

His only handicap will be that he doesn't belong to a form team and the big votes tend to go to the best player in the winning side.

I think you'll find Ratten finished equal 5th in the Brownlow last year, Olmeister.

Perhaps . . . but equal 5th doesn't necessarily equate to being close to the leader. (Although, I know you'll pull out a few stats to show that one up!).

It'll be tough for Ratten if the Blues fire up. Camporeale, Koutoufides, and a few others aren't shy of vote grabbing either . . .

What do you think of stuart dews chances? A standout in the port side and must be up there with a poke at it.

I was thinking of that. He has a good chance if he keeps kicking 6 or 7 goals a match. A Colemon is coming his way.
With Port they have standouts like Primus, Stevens, Francou etc etc. 6 or 7 goals could earn you 3 votes. But every vote counts so if he gets 1's and 2's etc etc and is consistent, there is no reason why he can't win the Brownlow.
