I'm also a bit bemused by this thread. Given how much we've been whinging about umps lately (justified or not), it seems a tad hypocritical to me to begrudge another club a whinge.

I have no problem with Voss "having a whinge" but he should target the correct problem. Presti and O'Brien were not getting any free ride from the umps.

Anyone else noticed in the last quarter he stopped coaching and started spectating the game, everytime they went to him he had his headphones off and was just sitting there spectating.

Not what you'd expect of the head coach.

The umpires are getting worse, they are not consistent and in too many games they affect the final result. Wobbles deserved the win.

What amused me was Leigh Mathews interviewing Voss before the game. Voss was telling Mathews what it was like to be in charge (coach) and to call the shots. I think Mathews would know better than anyone and the sarcastic reply made Voss look like a Tool. Got me stuffed how Mathews kept a straight face and/or refrained from wiping the smirk off Vosses face.

Thank god the w***er got a coaching gig. I'm sure you all noticed how bias he was for the opposition when calling Collingwood games. Was a disgrace. Hates the Pies and to beat these cheats with him helpless but responsible in the coaches box i'm sure was a great thing for the likes of O'Bree, Lockyer, Presti, Rocca, Fraser and Davis.

I'm glad he has taken the loss badly. And re Voss' smugness MDC, well I didn't see the incident but I would be quite confident that the initial interpretation was spot on. A very very satisfying win to stick it up this w***er. Very satisfying.

Was anyone else listening to the match on SEN? One of the commentators claimed Harry O’Brien was coming close to tunnelling Bradshaw. Brown did raise the issue last year. Anyone reckon this might be what they are on about?
