4 - John**** (Great forward crumbers game. Couldn't ask for much more, although could have got 7 if he kicked some gettable goals.)

3 - McLeod (Was it just me or did he bring his oown ball from home today? A ball which was not greasy and not heavy. Surely the best ball-handler in the AFL)

2 - Massie (Quality game in defence, always chasing hard and getting dirty)

1 - Hart (Only blunder was when he lost his cool in the 1st quarter. Mopped up brilliantly and just got the ball forward)

3 - Carey (Did all the one percenters, I had a gleeming smile on my face when he did that deft tap to John****)

2 - Shirley (Did all the hard stuff, nullified Camporale as well as picking up 20 disposals himself)

1 - Massie (Chased, tackled, ran hard)

5 - Brett Burton - was everywhere today from begining to end. Used the ball really well. played four quarters unlike McLeod

4- Nathan Bassett - awesome game. Beat his man and helped out the other defenders a lot as well. One of the most underrated players in the competion

3 - Mcleod - magical stuff. His skills are awesome.

2- Shirley - excellent job on Campo and used the ball well and reacted quickly. Could have saved his career.


1 - John**** - kicked some nice goals although got at least two on a plate from Carey and one from a brilliant kick by Biglands

4. Stiffy - Fantastic performance, especially in the conditions. A natural.
3. McLeod - Signs of his brilliant best.
2. Shirley - Always at the bottom of the pack or giving Campo nightmares. Now it's clear why Ayres redrafted him.
1. Carey - Moved freely and did some real tough stuff.

5. Burton - Didn't try to do the superman stuff & stuck to doing the basics very well for 4 solid quarters. Also, impressed me with doing the harder stuff & mopped up on the last line of defence numerous times.
4. McLeod - Broke the game open early, then quietened when the game was over. Moving beautifully again after the op!
3. Bassett - No only shut down Fevola, but had countless spoils as Carlton came forward.
2. Shirley - Handled the ball better in the conditions than most & got a lot of it & kept Camporeale quiet after a very good start (also like to thank Pagan for taking Campo off, as he wasn't the same after).
1. Stiffy - 5 goals, but should have kicked more with his opportunities.

3. Carey - Set up numerous goals. Going to be more than handy for us if he can stay sound.
2. Stenglein - Loved the way he positioned himself to keep Kouta out of the ruck contests. Very disciplined & kept Kouta under pressure with his disposal.
1. Biglands - Dominated the rucks. Gives us the luxury of nursing Clarke back from injury. Fantastic pass to Stiffy when he got behind McKay. Wish he could kick like that all the time!

Apologies to McGregor who was stiff to miss out on votes.

When do you have to have the votes in by ?? - I've been otherwise occupied recently and have had trouble getting onto the pc -also need to book it 3 days in advance here atm! with so many others getting on it!

dezzmo, I usually tally the final votes on a Tuesday night - unless there is a public holiday, when I do it on a Wednesday night. Fortunately, your votes are similar to what the rest of us thought, so there would be no change to the final votes.
