Pittard was back to near his best in the first half but made some bad choices in the second half and one "deer-in-the-headlights" moment that cost a goal. Johnson surprised with his 3 goals and Ebert was good defensively but like Pittard made a few panicky errors that cost us.

5 - Jonas: 30 disposals, rock in defence, TJ should win the best and fairest.

4 - Johnson: was like many critical of his initial inclusion but he proved me wrong. Great effort on McGovern, brilliant cameo of 3 goals, shame it didn't work out in the end.

3 - Pittard: blow me down Jasper has polled. His first half is what we ask from him, took the game on, defended well, used the ball ok. Fell away a bit and had one or two bad moments late (but who didn't)

2 - Howard: We look so much better with Doogs in the side. Great effort to play with a broken hand, didn't seem to hinder him too much. Helped kept West Coast's forwards quiet and their inside 50s looking about as good as...well ours usually.

1 - Wines: not gonna lie, struggled to find a 5th player for this. Wines was ok early though, won some contested ball and some clearances. Fell away when the injuries came and the team lost its way.
