Didn't even notice Boak tbh. Geez it's nice to be a midfielder if you're after a few medals.
On the one hand I was shocked when his name was read out, but on the other hand he has definitely missed out more medals he's deserved over the journey than the other way around so I just enjoyed it.

Definitely a big gap between my top 2 and the rest. AA, Dix and TJ unlucky to miss out. MG should absolutely have been in there but was wasteful in the last quarter.

Note: I've voted for round 8 before round 7 as I still haven't gone back and watched the Brisbane game.

Think Lycett and Clurey our best but any of Marshall, MG, Bergman, Robbie, DBJ or Ollie should have got votes.

5 Aliir - stood tall all game and repelled continuous Crow forays.
4 Clurey - ditto
3. Boak - Ran hard from stoppages and played a faultless link up game.
2. Lycett - Taught O'Brien a thing or two about workmate and physicality around the ground.
1. Wines - Another complete game. Defensive and attacking. Brownlow odds are surely shortening.

mentions...
Georgiades- game changer. sooo smart, skilled and brave. Panther-like.
Gray - the usual magic
Bergman - Love this kid. His bodywork over the ball defies his experience and is growing in confidence with his marking and intercept work.

Rozzee is beginning to anticipate the play better and played the percentages in the 2nd half.

SPP was rushing disposal into forward 50 but settled in 2nd half with some solid inside work.

Fantasia ran so hard last night and could have finished with a 4 goals. Also settled as game wore on.
