Great first game by Dyson & L-M looks like he'll be good for us too! Both have shown more in this game than Winder ever has. I still think Winder can be good but he should have shown us something by now.

Honorables:

Hille - something about West Coast, he lifts
Solly - getting back into it
Welsh - great first quarter, with a plate in his hand no less

Mercs - couldn't be happier for him; 3 goals in his 200th game proves he's still worth something even after so many people said he was finished. Gotta be played up forward though.

Dyson - I like his game lots. Agreed that he's shown more than any of the other draftees at this point

Lovett-Murray - honestly didn't think he was up to it yet, but his goal was huge

Over-reliance on Hird and Lloyd....yeah probably. We certainly wouldn't have won last night without them; they're just that damn good.

It was a game we had to win - no bones about it. I think a loss or even a draw after getting a 48 point jump would have been demoralizing.
