5. Sandilands - 52 hitouts and our clearance winner. 4. Ryan - easily most metres gained, even with just 16 possies, great disposal as usual. 3. Matera - one of best in disposal and heaps of I50's. 2. Taberner - ran his guts out, played out of position a bit but 9 marks and 20 disposals ok. Will come good. 1. Neale - for effort in 38 touches. Best of a woeful midfield. 63% DE when you handball 24 times, 7 clangers and 1 tackle not good enough though. Lucky to get a vote, but tries his guts out and will come good too.
Pretty tight between the top two in our opening game with Sandi just out pointing Neale, tough Neale drew more voters. Nice start to a few of our newer Dockers, in particular Matera who had a good game (according to us) in pretty crappy circumstances. They round out our top three, here are the rest of the numbers:
