5. Peak
4. Mundy
3. Schammer
2. Sandi
1. Headland

Sandi was brilliant in the first qurater, but was pretty quiet after that. I guess he had spent his petrol tickets. Belly tried hard as did Pav, but not even Pav can consistently beat 2-3 players. More bad coaching from CC, he should have put Pav in the middle, played him as a decoy forward or man the dam free port players in the backline up. He did nothing until late in the game when it was shot, far too slow to change Pav up. I thought wiz took his chances, but nothing special. Really the younger players like Peak played very well. Once again the leadership group, or large chunks of it had poor games. I am being very kind to Des, his skill level wasn't great. I just admire now how he plays. He used to be the outside runner, he is now prepared to get in and dirty. He has played 3 good games like this, hope he continues to be like that next year

This is hard...

5. Peake - only 4 quarter effort IMO.

4. Thornton - not because he played exceptionally well, but because he was severely under-sized and "under-strengthed", but he didn't give up. Outstanding effort to keep trying so bloody hard.

3. Sandi - excellent 1st quarter, good second quarter, reasonable second half but was undone by our midfielders not getting their hands on the ball after he had won the tap.

2. Bell - captain's effort in the first half; ran out of legs in the second half... lack of training in the past 2 weeks, still injured... whatever.

1. Medhurst - tried hard, set up a few, thought it was one of his better games of recent weeks.

Sandilands was excellent, Thornton!!!! A kid on a man's job. Tredrea should have got 5 ( has the yips in front of goal at the moment) and beat him easily.

No votes for the supposed all Australian CHF I see. Utterly thrashed in a crunch game. Even when you guys controlled the ball in the first half you had to go wide because the Pav was missing.

Peake will be excellent over the years to come.

The Wiz...MIA for most of the night.

Josh Carr, what the hell has CC done to this guy? He should be in the middle full time.

Toots, this is how easliy freo supporters are satisfied, thornton amongst their best. Disagree with you on peake though. Stands out at the moment cos fhe has speed (their midfield is dead slow) which is his main attribute. Delivery is hit or miss and I think we all know he was attempting to hit a target in the square but miss kicked it and was more surprised than anyone to see it trickle in.

I will note here that although Des had little effect on the game, I like his new attitude. He gave away frees but at least he was tackling them hard, rather than being a seagull.
