Lloyd was beaten , his number one priority is to kick goals, didn`t do his job. Same as tarrant, I`m quite happy for him to go kick chasing all night and get outside his range. Well done Fletch.
He had 19 touches on Anzac day, Jacobs murdered him.tarrant, goaless, zippo. Lloyd had 12 touches on Anzac day, half of them resulted in you know whats, teams Full Forward, job excellently done.

Oh please.....

Will you shut up about Anzac Day?

Nobody cares other than you!

It's more pathetic than Coll supporters mentioning 1990 at every opportunity.

Tarrant played an ok game - set up a few things, and did about as much as he could have considering the conditions and the delivery into their forward line.

Fletcher did nothing other than kick the ball to absolutely nobody all night.

You really do need to take your blinkers off occasionally.

I've always noticed how the great players always seem to have time. Hird, Buckley, McLeod. Does Fletcher look like he has time? No. Everything is rushed.

Please tell me where Hi, Bu and McL ply their trade and then tell me where Fletch plys his. One hint, you could not get two more completely different posistions relating to pressure.

And what does this have to do with Anzac Day?

Anyway, I'm certainly not alone in thinking that Fletch was average at best on Friday.

I'd love to watch a replay just to see how many times he blindly bombed the ball out of the backline to nobody in particular without even considering looking for a better option.

I expect more from a player like Fletch.

This is a good point, but he still isn't as composed under pressure, even taking into account his position. Compare him to Wellman who seems to have more time because he has a football brain.

Look, I think Fletch is a good player. He can mark, kick, and spoil.... and sometimes that's all he needs to do. But that's about it. In my opinion, his booming kicks and excellent spoiling technique, hide his deficiencies

Ok I will give my votes for Essendon from a Collingwood point of view.

3. Solomon

2. Hird

1. Rioli

I think Solomon played a very good game. He's a very tough player.

To add to the Tarrant and Fletcher match up. Tarrant plays as CHF not a FF. He spends a lot of the time up the ground taking marks and assisting in goals. So i think he got the better of Fletcher during the game. He was running Fletcher all over the ground.
