5. Elliot Yeo - BOG when it mattered
4. Luke Shuey - Influence was greater than his stats suggest
3. Brad Sheppard - Love
2. Josh Kennedy - 6 goals
1. Josh Hill - Got lucky on a couple, but credit to him

Wanted to squeeze Masten in, thought he was good. Too many other HM's, I can't be bothered.

5. Elliot Yeo - the catalyst in the first half.
4. Josh Kennedy - injury? What injury?
3. Sharrod Wellingham - solid in defence and smooth going forward.
2. Josh Hill - got a lot of reward for effort.
1. Brad Sheppard - Was out-sized but was exceptional.

HM: Naitanui, Shuey, Duggan, Priddis, McGovern, Cripps, Gaff and everyone else (excluding McInnes)

5. Yeo - set up the win
4. Kennedy - constantly presented, made it count with 6.2
3. McGovern - Spoiled, marked, smothered and generally just went in, saved plenty of goals
2. Hill - One touch football, very silky, worked hard at both ends and provided a good option
1. Shuey - Owned the middle against good opposition, had Coniglio for a bit, but you wouldn't have known really, smashed him.

HM - pretty much the whole defense (Shep, Butler, Hurn, Schoey, Bennell) keeping a team goalless for 2 quarters is amazing! and conceding only 1 goal from quarter time is a massive effort.

edit: Oh and Wellingham - one of, if not his best game for us.

Congrats on a great win tonight fellas!
Masten was huge
. If Hill can find consistency he could be huge for you guys. Kennedy, Lecras, Hill, and Cripps is a very scary forward line.
Shuey3.
masten 2
kennedy 1.
(gaff stiff not to get votes)

Probably a dozen blokes could deserve votes tonight

Shuey and Yeo the two standouts for mine though
Surprised at the lack of votes by Shuey so far. He didn't get the numbers, but I think he was easily up there with Yeo when it mattered.

5. Yeo
4. Shuey
3. Sheppard
2. Kennedy
1. The McGovernator

HM to Masten and Hill.

We've got a guy named Darling who is injured too ;)

Pretty blood hard effort picking just 5. We had over 400 disposals.

5. Yeo - 19 to half time and 25 at the end of the game. But over the first half he was BOG by a mile and his second term deserves a special mention just utterly dominant. If he does that over 4 quarters then he's one of games best players. Just needs to build his tank.

4. Shuey - Dominant in the clinches tonight. 24 Disposals, 13 Contested, 9 Clearances, 2 goals, 2 goal assists.

3. Kennedy - 6 goals in three quarters. Just a beast in 2015, career best form.

2. Hill - 4 goals and 19 disposals. First half pressure was very good.

1. McGovern - Not his best game but still elite, dominated the contests he was involved in and won the ball high up the ground.

Special HM: Gaff, Masten, Duggan, Wellingham, Sheppard and Priddis for his second half.

HM: Everyone else.

I forgot about darling!!
You guys are covering your losses down back beautifully!
What are the chances darling could play backline when he returns in a robbie Tarrant role to benefit the team?
I know he's a 50+ a year goal kicker but he could be more important down back (atleast for this season)
Thoughts ?

Hard to give votes this week for all the right reasons.

5. Yeo. No questions.
4. Kennedy. His best game yet IMO, was critical, and not just in the forward 50.
3. Duggan. Partly because I didn't give him votes last week even though he deserved them, otherwise he'd probably #4 and #4 would go to...
2. Shuey. Best game in a while IMO. Was constantly under pressure and battled throughout.
1. Cripps. Not just because I sponsor him, but because he never ever seemed to stop competing even for a second. Showed as much guts as anyone on our team with the mark in the last quarter and while the pass to Duggan didn't work out it was awesome to see him try to gift him that goal.

HM: Wellingham, Butler, Gov, Sheppard, Hill all deserve votes too.
DM: Didn't see the value in having both Sinclair and McInnes.

Special mention goes to Simpson who got us to play the way we should have played 2 weeks ago.

Won't happen - we've already got McGovern down there who should be playing fwd. More likely that McInnes will go back, or maybe even Hill (who went back towards the end tonight).

5 - Shuey
4 - Yeo
3 - Kennedy
2 - Hill
1 - Masten

It is pretty hard to pick when we have a win like this. Someone should start a negative MVP award for the worst player. Now that would be easy.

Edit: Changed Sheppard to Masten. He was great after half time especially.

Don't think so.
Darling provides forward pressure and a second lead up option.
McInnes struggled in that role tonight.

5 - Yeo
4 - Kennedy
3 - Shuey
2 - McGovern
1 - Hill
