POTY

5: Typhoon Edwards,- The most under rated and under estimated player that still gets under every oppositions guard. This guy is like a good wine, gets better with age.

4: Trent Hentchell - If only it rained every week, if he only plays like that in the wet. Should always go for chest marks in the future. Stood up when needed this week.

3: Dogga Doughty - Deserved his higher points this week as his game was nearly brilliant. Stood up when Goody was taken out of the game.

2: Scott Thompson - Apart from one lapse in control when he apparently gave away a free kick and the game seemed to turn from that point.

1: Nathan VB - I am so wrapped with this kid. Will still make those mistakes that youngster do, but his game deserved points. That brilliant pass to Hentchell was something to nearly make an old fart cry with joy.

BTM

3: EDWARDS, This game of his was another fantastic game from #9.
2: BASSETT - Fred was a pillar of strength down back as did the other 5.
1: STIFFY JOHNCOCK - Deserved to be higher but so did everyone else.

10. Me for staying till the end. Along with 40000 other Crows supporters. Well done all. :thumbsu:

ROTY

2: VB - See above
1: EVAAAAAAAAAAAN MARIC - Sure he made some errors but in conditions like he played his first game this kid has something special.

I've never seen a bigger rush to get to the shed.......combination of free beer and securing a possy under one of the gas heaters.....:thumbsu: ....I was sunburnt by the time I went home.....:D

POTY (stats from Pro-Stats)
5. Hentschel (his wet weather skills were outstanding, an his snap in the 3rd quarter, brilliant)
4. Doughty (3 goals, 21 touches, 5 1%ers, provided great contests)
3. Edwards (provided good drive forward, 7 I50's, 5 clearances, 5 tackles)
2. Rutten (kept Tredrea scoreless, played up the ground more than normal, provided a strong presence)
1. Thompson (just pipped Goodwin, 6 tackles, 6 Inside 50's, 4 Clearances, more than filling the void of Ricciuto in the middle)

Goodwin was unlucky considering his 8 clearances (9 according to Champion). Even though he was meant to have been well tagged by KCornes, to get that many clearances is a testament to the quality of player he is.

BTM
3. Porplyzia - Just watching him slip and slide after the ball with total disregard to his safety is good to watch (unless he got hurt)
2. Rutten - wonderful job done
1. Maric - In his limited time, to top the side for 1%ers (6) is an outstanding effort, combined with 5 tackles, 5 touches, 2 clearances and a brilliant goal you couldn't ask for more for 26 minutes of football.

ROOKIE (bad luck VB I wanted votes for Ivan)
2. Porplyzia
1. Maric

Interesting to note.
Maric's had more 1%ers (6) than Biglands and Clarke combined (3)
Tackles was 5-3.
Clearances was 2-3.

Seems that he might be a better ground player and one willing to through himself at contests.

Yes I agree. Imagine Big Lurch and Huddo in combination next year.
Things look good.

Big bad Ivaaaaaaan was pretty good in time he spent on ground. You know he is going to be that ruckman weve been looking for since Rehn retired. Finds footy around ground, very strong at contests and good at the taps. Hudson you can argue is that man too, but he is a LOT older and wont last as long. Big Ivan is the man.
