5. Ballantyne - turned the game our way more than once
4. Hill - was superb in breaking lines and getting the ball forward
3. Mzungu - into everything, positioned himself really well and Geelong had no real answer to him
2. Sandi - He rucks, he roves, he handballs through traffic and he lets opponents bounce off him to amuse the crowd...and on his knees picking up the ball he's still taller than Ballas
1. Pav (how did Pav only get one when he played like that?) Its a 1 that deserves to be more.

Real apologies to Mundy, Fyfe and Barlow who were all match winners in the middle, as well as Silvagni, Johnson and Neale down back. It seems unfair somehow that those guys play so well yet dont get votes.

Edit: and Crowley. Deserves votes as well.

Just goes to show how big the effort was on Saturday night. Points deserved by so many who are missing out.

My Votes. Just watched a replay that cut out middle of the 4th quarter, but still, from what I saw on original then second viewing:

5 - Mundy.
3 - Hill.
2 - Balla.
1 - Sandi.
1 - Fyfe.
1 - Crowley
1 - Pav
1 - Dawson

Lots of others that could warrant a vote too of course.

Tough one to narrow down this week.

5 Mundy - others had bursts where they were more dangerous, but I thought he was the most consistent over 4 qtrs
4 Ballas - broke the game open at crucial points
3 Hill
2 Crowley
1 Mz

No passengers and best 4 qrt performance for the year: great night to do it.
Mundy-4
Balla/Hill-3
Gu/Pav/Crowls/The Fist-2
Another half dozen could have had points.

Now the budget has been handed down, the Australian Govn't has finished with their state-of-the-art IBM 7090. They've given it to me and I've set it up in basement and it's ready to go, here's a pic:

I'm still getting used to some of the more advanced features, like how to use that black phone looking thing, but I think I've got the hang of it. So I'll be putting in the votes soon.

If you've got last minute votes, post them soon. I'll probably put up final results tomorrow some time.

So.....Looking at that photo...Who do you have lined up to put all the votes onto punch cards?

Ooh that photo brings back memories.....not entirely welcome ones though!

Hey, I'm on the crest of the technology curve man. It's all covered, I've got an IBM 1401 that can transfer from magnetic tape to punched card ... pft some people are so behind the times.

:D
