were Bartel and Nath even playing?

Monica was good.

Bartel and Kelly are so fustrating to watch.

Nath should be left in the bloody goal square and the forward line should be opened up for him to lead. He has a good lead. How can we teach him to be a FF if he is half way up the bloody ground.

Adelaide are just frickin' awesome! I don't mind losing to this team so much when you consider just how good they are. An extremely well drilled, disciplined and fit unit.
You've gotta take your hat off to them today... excellent football team.
Lets move on and look forward to next week...

...and Egan worked hard all day.
Yeah, how good was Ego? A silver lining on a cloudy day.

Smothered McGregor in the first half before moving onto the dangerous Hentschel in the second, quietening him down (IRC). Offensively, I thought it was the best Egan's played, generating some lumbering run from the backline. I've never seen him play as confidently before.

Was that the first time Bomber's replaced Scarlo with Ego on the opposition's most damaging tall?

5. Milburn
4. Egan
3. Chapman
2. Enright
1. Ling

HM's = Stokes/Callan

Egan was definately a shining light. Have to agree on the statement that he played the most confident game he has played for GFC. Callan was good too, you seriously cannot fault this guys commitment, the playing group should be made to watch a tape of his selfless acts, it might be somewhat inspiring. Wojcinski was also another positive, best game post ACL and looks to be gaining that all important confidence. We seriously weren't that bad (except for a few individuals), just beaten by a rampaging team playing some of the best, most consistent football we have seen for a while. If Adelaide don't win the premiership this year, by a healthy margin at that, I will be very surprised.
