Sorry to highjack the thread but people do know that Scott Welsh got 6 shots on goal and normally would go 5.1 with that, lucky for Essendon he only got 3.3. A lot of Fletcher's possies were very cheap and he gave away 2 crucial, and rather stupid, 50m penalties in the last 8 minutes.

EDIT: Should have mentioned while I thought it was a rather poor quality game from both teams, it was great to be at a reasonably full Telstra Dome and gee it went off at times.

You need THE anchor tenant to fill it. It was 75% Essendon , so they were probably the sounds you heard.
