Yeah Dyson was actually pretty good today.

Won a few crucial contests against Garlett too, where otherwise he (Garlett) would've ran into an open fifty.

Yep, wouldn't mind seeing him get regular game time, it adds balance, clean disposal and freeing up a couple of others to get more involved in the midfield.

I was really happy with his work off the back line. I reckon he is naturally defensively minded.

5. Stanton Just awesome really good, racking up heaps of ball and good disposal
4. Watson Usual Watson Game
3. Crameri Played an almost flawless game excpet for his flawed kicking could have easily had 8-9 goals
2. Hibberd Really good in defence repelled countless blue attacks
1. Davey Fast and Furious, getting back to the davey we saw from 2007, great forward pressure and good infront of the big sticks,
HM to Dyson, Ryder, T-BELL, Fletch, Howlett, Hardingham.

And a few WOGs to the blues
Bower Absolutely deplorable in defence, makes Hooker look like a elite user of the ball
Gibbs Running scared, needs to HTFO
Kreuuuuuuuzer I know hes very talented by seriously, for all the attention this guy gets big T-bel (what pick was he drafted) destoryed him today
Robinson Selfish

Dyson has an incredibly small range between his best and worst perfomances in the last 2 or 3 years. He's always "pretty good" IMO; does a handy defensive job and uses the footy well when he gets it. His problem is that he's never taken that next step so will always be on the fringe and reliant on injuries to play regularly.

Anyway...

5. Stanton
4. Crameri
3. Watson
2. Hibberd
1. Davey

1. Davey

Crameri was decent, but his missed easy ones far too many times and only got the simple stuff for him to be high up for me.

Was tossing up between Davey and Jetta for the last spot. Though they were both excellent. Jetta at using the ball and getting into the right space, Davey at finishing and putting pressure on.

Hooker was great down back IMO.

5- Stanton, ripper game with precision footskills.
4- Crameri, would have given him BOG had he converted a few more shots on goal.
3- Watson, clearance machine.
2- Hibberd, excellent overhead and seems to have improved on his disposal which was a major flaw in his game.
1- Hardingham, killed Betts despite his four goals where half of them were gifted to him on platter.
