5 - Ward
4 - McDonald
3 - Yze
2 - Bartram
1 - Carroll

That draw is as good as a loss given the predicted outcomes of other games. 7th at subi against Freo!! :thumbsd: We can't go out in straight sets again, we just can't - please..:(

Meh we can still make top 4 and that is all that counts. We need situations like this. We don't want the mentality of "even if we lose we will be top 4" which is what it would be like if we won today. We need the mentality of "if we win we will be top 4"

as for the votes

5. Ward - Very strong and very quick. His best game of the year probably
4. Carroll - Nearly ****ed things up right at the but still a very solid game even though his opponent was shisen...he was given no chances by Carroll
3. McDonald - Consistant as usual but, like all our midfielders, was much better in the first half
2. Bruce - Played very well but didn't always stand up when needed.
1. Bartram - Had a good individual game but his Ablett who he was on for much of the day killed us in the 2nd half after Whelan went off.

By far the best game Bell has played at the club and on a day where no-one really played exceptionally well he was my best. Unfortunately a lot of supporters on this Forum have it in for young Belly, just like they do with Godfrey. IMO Bell is going to become a good player for the Dees and may well become a 200 gamer.

Bell was not our best player. Whilst he did some good things his disposal on seveal occasions trying to swtich the play back through the corridor resulted in several goals. Also in the 2nd half there were numerous instances especially round stoppages where he didn't follow his direct opponent and as a consequence they got the clearance. You cannot question his endevour but his desicion making abillities, YES.

5:Ward
4: McDonald
3: Carrol
2: Trapper
1: Barty

Note. Bruce needs to sustain a 4 quarter effort

Also Miller when did he start playing football as a junior? He just doesn't seem to know his way round a football ground. Did he play union up in Mt Gravat

I know what you mean. He shows good signs. But I fear that he is too panicky to play in defence at least. So I'm not sure where he fits in with us.

Daniel Bell was amongst the best for pure endavour, his decision making is still not quite up to scratch but took some great marks, and good courage. Great signs from him.

5 - Ward - Good run.
4 - McDonald - As solid as usual
3 - Bruce - great in parts, still injured imo
2 - TJ - Pretty good all round.
1 - Carroll - apart from that dropped mark was very good

If FREO beat WEST COAST today we will play collingwood at the g. with their form of late i would back us in. Then we would play at freo. Knowing that team anything is possible, we could beat them by 100 or lose by 100. go FREO!!!

also bell was on s.johnson, doesn't deserve votes

Yeah I heard TJ say that on the sunday footy show. If i knew that i would not have had him on top of my votes.

Bell was NOT on Steve Johnson.
Whelan was on him, then Ward, and when he went mental they put Bartram on him and he did a good job.

Bell was on Ablett Junior and up to half time did a wonderful job.

I think TJ got it wrong. He said "I think Bell was on him".
He also thought Jamar would miss the goal. Guess what, he was wrong.

Steve Johnson went through 3 opponents, Bell was not one of them. If he was, it was only for a brief period while he was covering for Ward.
Bell was on GAJ, then on Champan. Junior was on Bartel, and McLean on Ling.

Bell was rarely, if ever, deep in defence. He lined up on the wing and stayed there for most of the game. He was good, but as usual paniced at the wrong times.
