Ditto - especially as I missed the 1st 20 minutes - which obviously was the best part. A couple of ports might sway me otherwise!

POTY

5. McGregor - IMO without a doubt our best at CHB. Gave Rocca a hiding.
4. Hart - welcome return by a genuine top-liner.
3. Edwards - very skilful and one of the few that can hit a target.
2. Mcleod - once again showed glimpses of the old Mcleod. Unaccountable at times.
1. Stenglein - worked hard in the clinches.

Best Team Man

3. McGregor - see above
2. Begley - excellent until injured - gave dash and used the ball well.
1. Hart - welcome back champ

Rookie

Nearly gave it to Bock who played several roles including CHF for a while and wasn't disgraced.

1. Hentschel - good game at HB and can actually kick to a team-mate.

At least you lot didn't sit at telstra dome watching that s*** like me!!

I'm not giving votes either. You guys are getting really desperate with some of yours!!

Best players: Edwards, Hart, Doughty, McLeod and Bassett was ok and thats it.

Disposal was woeful by everyone. Forwards were CRAP!!

Jericho was way better than Bock (he's so slow)

McGregor made too many mistakes to be in the best and Roo was really disappointing. Stenglein's disposal was crap too.

Umpires made us look good at the start.

Ouch.

Dyertribe!

I'm not a huge fan of Doughty but I thought he did ok tonight (well thats what I thought watching the game live).

I was surprised he came straight back into the team - he must have a few of the same photos that Marty Mattner has!! This weeks team selection was a joke.

I was there, and it was an extremely dissapointing game by all accounts. No real heart, no real confidence, and no real guts. Only a few players stood out...

Player of the Year

5. Hart - Gave contests, disposed very well, and was a shining light for our woeful side. Great to have him back.

4. McGregor - Pretty much dominated Rocca. Kept tight on his opponent and played an important part in our game.

3. Hentschel - Played one of his best games for the season. Disposed well, contested well and took some very good marks.

2. McLeod - Our best midfielder last night, showed some of his natural brilliance. However, his delivery into the forward line was not too good. Still managed 2 goals though.

1. Riccuito - Not his best game for the season, but still managed a bit of the ball. His disposal was alright, but seemed to lack aggression. Still far from disgraced.

Best Team Man

3. McGregor - see above.

2. Basset - Actually did quite well on Tarrant until he did his ankle. Pretty impressive, and a solid team effort.

1. Hudson - Received little game time but still gave his all. I believe he was actually better than Clarke in the ruck at stages of the game.

Rookie of the Year

Bock - One of his best games. Went hard at the ball and kicked a goal as well (nearly got two). His disposal was not the best under pressure but he certainly tried hard.

Just a thought, I noticed that none of my votes went to the forwards. DISGACEFUL effort by our forwards, and one of the reasons was because our delivery was also terrible.

And Scotty Welsh, pull your finger out, because you went at the ball like a fairy. You could so much better than that.

Gotta say once again how impressive was the effort of Hudson.
Was stationed at FF for only about 5 minutes, not enough to make any assessments, but I would like to see him in a KP to how he would go.

Once again, he had 10 possessions in 44 minutes out of 110 - exactly 40% which pro ratas to 25 disposals for a full game.

He gets a lot more of the ball than some give him credit for, and has great 2nd and 3rd efforts.

Thats Huddo for you. For the game time he gets he gives 110% every time. I think it speaks volumes, when you consider who was in the ruck when we had to make a run at it to win. HUddo played his heart out. Loved it whe he kicked a goal :D

He is developing nicely and he will be a pretty good player once he gets a bit more experience and will be a very good number 1 ruckman for us in a couple of years.

He offers a lot more in field play than any of our ruckman and he was pretty impressive last night.

Haven't raised this to this point, but was extremely disappointing to see Hudson kick his first goal in AFL footy, was obviously over the moon, and no-one, but no-one went to him to congtaulate him.
It was one of those moments that said alot about this team.

The next moment was when Macleod kicked the goal to put us 3 points down, with a minute to play.
Excitement, enthusisam, crowd participation - nope, I WILL SAY THE MOST FLAT, UNEMOTIONAL GAME PERIOD I HAVE SEEN and we could have still won it.
