Would be interesting to see a how many games they polled in ladder.
Reckon that might be a closer indication towards the BnF

Do you mean completely independent of vote value, - ie Higgo, Poles, Marley, jasper and the other 3 all get one vote for the Dee's game?

I'll try and have it done by tomorrow night.

Yep. BnFs usually favour those who were more consistent.

Just did the vote ladder and found a couple of mistakes in my tally.

Here's the proper one.

Ben Cunnington - 47.
Robbie Tarrant - 29.
Shaun Higgins - 26.
Jack Ziebell - 25.
Jed Anderson - 23.
Shaun Atley - 20.
Jared Polec - 20.
Marley Williams - 20.
Cameron Zurhaar - 20.

Todd Goldstein - 19.
Ben Brown - 17.
Jasper Pittard - 14.
Jy Simpkin - 14.
Trent Dumont - 8.
Scott Thompson - 8.
Jamie Macmillan - 5.
Bailey Scott - 5.
Aaron Hall - 4.
Paul Ahern - 3.
Kayne Turner - 3.
Luke Davies-Uniacke - 2.
Nick Larkey - 2.
Tarryn Thomas - 2.
Mason Wood - 2.

I must have given Cam one of Marley's votes. The first count had Marley on 19 and Cam on 21. But after counting twice they are both on 20. Dunno where I made the mistake tho.

Here's the votes ladder. Its got the player and every vote they got with a total at the end in brackets. The total at the end is the number of times they got votes. I've divided it into Before Brad and After Brad using this >.

Ben Cunnington - 5, 5, 3, 5, 3, 5, 1 > 4, 4, 5, 1, 3, 3 (13).
Robbie Tarrant - 1, 2, 2, 3, 3 > 5, 1, 4, 4, 4 (10).
Shaun Higgins - 1, 4, 2, 4 > 5, 5, 1, 4 (8).
Jack Ziebell - 3, 2, 5 > 3, 5, 4, 3 (7).
Jed Anderson - 5, 5, 1, 2, 2 > 1, 3, 2, 1, 1 (10).
Shaun Atley - 4, 1, 3, 4, 4, 4 > (6).
Jared Polec - 4, 3, 1 > 3, 4, 5 (6).
Marley Williams - > 4, 3, 3, 3, 4, 3 (6).
Cameron Zurhaar - 1, 5 > 5, 2, 2, 5 (6).
Todd Goldstein - 2, 5 > 1, 2, 1, 3, 5 (7).
Ben Brown - 3 > 3, 5, 2, 4 (5).
Jasper Pittard - 3, 4 > 1, 2, 2, 2 (6).
Jy Simpkin - 1, 4 > 3, 5, 1 (5).
Trent Dumont - 2, 4, 1 > 1 (4).
Scott Thompson - > 2, 5, 1 (3).
Jamie Macmillan - 1 > 4 (2).
Bailey Scott - 5 > (1)
Aaron Hall - 4 > (1)
Paul Ahern - > 3 (1)
Kayne Turner - > 2, 1 (2)
Luke Davies-Uniacke - 2 > (1).
Nick Larkey - 2 > (1).
Tarryn Thomas - > 1, 1 (2).
Mason Wood - > 1, 1 (2) - both these votes came in the first 2 games after Shaw took over.

The ladder using that system is:

Cunners
Taz and Jed
Higgo
Jack and Goldy
Ats, Poles, Marley, Cam Z and Jasper
Browny and Jy

They all polled 5 times or more

Froggy polled 4 times, Hunter 3 and the rest only once or twice.

Goldstein underrated by this board again.

He'll finish top 3 in the B&F.

He's ranked 4th on the number of times he got votes. Only Cunners, Jed and Taz then Higgo got votes in more games. IIRC there were a few games he just missed out on a vote too.

Compared to 10th overall in the board's tally - that probably is a result of under rating him. (Tho there was only one vote between 6th place and Goldy in 10th.)

Actually the two tally's are pretty close, mostly differences in order. With the exception of Goldy being 10th in one and 4th/5th in the other.

But if Goldy had polled one more vote for the season then he'd have been equal 6th for the B&F as well and the top 6 in both the vote count and the number of times players got votes would have been the same players (albeit in slightly different orders.)

Based on our votes the Top 5 for the Syd will be:

1 - Cunners.
2 - Taz.
3 - Higgo.
4 and 5 - two of Jed, Jack and Goldy.

Will be interesting to compare all three tallies

Goldi was rewarded for his consistency and he went on to poll well in the Syd Barker👍🏼
Higgins injury cost him too

No worries 'Toes. I like doing it. I'm happy to go round again next year barring unforseen circumstances. Although we had some issues with old cattle bones and wild dogs. Not sure what I'm gonna do about that at this point.
