I just don't get it. He was excellent last night.

Really. I thought he was terrible compared to last week. I thought he stuffed around with it again giving to players under pressure etc. Like when he handballed to Trenners in the fwd50 who was immediately tackled/bumped, the ball then flew off him into Jones hands which led to a goal, but I still thought it was a stupid decision

You hate to bitch about the umpires, but they did cost us the game on so many levels. But I'm gutted and proud at the same time on last nights effort. I've only just gotten over the fact that we lost it. We seriously have to start winning these games where we are in front by more than a goal with less than 5 mins left. Good teams win those games, and we still have some work to do....

Special mentions to Frawley, Green, Bruce(much improved) and Davey. We needed Sylvia, Moloney and the skipper to step up in the last few mins, but they failed. Scully was huge and nearly got us over the line. He just needs some support from our senior players next week...
