3 Wells thought he was outstanding all night. Made good decisions and was skillful with the ball. One of the best games I've ever seen him play.
2 Ben Brown was the match winner. His 3rd quarter got us back in it.
1 Cunnington he's a star player with great hands. Very hard at it and makes good choices. Loved his game.

Could have also given votes to Greenwood. He was fantastic and was hard at it. Close to our best he was that good.
Also liked Wright, Thompson, Gibson and Sugar Kayne Turner.

3. Ben Brown - No big forward looked like doing anything for the first half. There came a point where it seems Brown just said, "oh, **** this" and went full throttle and became the forward target we needed. He's an absolute weapon.

2. Greenwood - Second half, he was massive. Really took it to the Essendon mids and, without knowing the exact stats, seemed to win every contest in the 3rd and 4th.

1. Sammy Wright, take a bow! Gives me the absolute shit sometimes but he was a crucial player in so much of our run and carry in the second half. Like Greenwood, it seemed that he couldn't be beaten after half time even if it was mostly uncontested ball.
