Good win Dons.
Keeping your end up in the "Zero Wins for Carlton 2008" campaign.
Another standout game for Mcveigh, must have a few votes by now.

Cheers.

3. McVeigh (absolutely sensational!)
2. Lovett (tremendous use of the ball!)
3. Team

Personally, fantastic win, ruck division is terible. The statistics tell a different story to the game I saw with regards to which team won in the ruck. I thought Kruezer dominated both Laycock and Hille in the ruck when contesting. For me, we've yet to win a ruck dual this season and though it's only 3 games in I don't expect us winning 1!

Stanton's disposal is dismal.

Mcphee presented well tonight and used the ball much better than he has been.

Jetta's second effort after doing his hammy was inspirational! Hille continuing on after what looked at one stage to be a match-finishing injury was fantastic but as I said felt as though he lowered his colours in the ruck despite what the stats suggest.

Monfries, Dyson, Davey, Winderlich, Nash, Ryder and Rama all contributed to the win- lucky escape! :thumbsu:

3. McVeigh - Brilliant, also contained judd better than anyone else
2. Lovett - Kept us in the game in the 3rd when carlton were getting on top.
1. Hille - Did well all night, lifted it up a notch in the last

3. Mcveigh
2. Lovett
1. Flecther/Hille

Great Efforts from Jetta and Reimers aswell:thumbsu:

At the game it looked as though Betts absolutely killed Reimers.

3. McVeigh
2. Lovett
1. McPhee

Loved Ryders game. Pushed forward at times, brilliant spoiling. Went onto Fev in the last qtr and did the trick apart from one lucky goal to Fev.

Michael was far too slow for Fev and i can't believe Knights waited until alsmost 3 qtr time before he made the move. It almost cost us the game.

3 - Lovett - That was close to the best I have seen him play.

2 - McVeigh - Always delivers

1 - Hillie

Overall a good solid win, Carlton gave it too us all night but we stuck to the task and came away with the four points.

The Midfield needs to become more consistant, and I was very happy with Monfries and McPhee and nice game by Reimers and unlucky not to get a vote was Ryder

3. Lovett-Has polish and skill. Lets hope he continues his good form
2. McVeigh-Missed his incident with Fevola. What happened?
1. Ryder-Gets better and better

Note on the match:
Not sure why Knights persisted with Michael on Fevola when he was absolutely towelled up by him. Made the move very late which proved to be a good decision, but should have been done much earlier. Didnt see Jetta do his hamstring. Tough to pick up on all these things at the game. Hopefully it isnt severe. We seem like we are cursed with hamstring injuries. McPhee presented very well today. Lloyd was pretty quiet even though he finished with 4. Houli was poor as was Peverill. With Welsh and Lovett Murray to still coe into the team, unsure where Neagle will find a spot up forward.

3: McVeigh
2: Lovett
1: Ryder

Great games from all three of them.

McVeigh's continuing to step up more and more, was top notch all game. His disposal and decision making were superb.

Andrew Lovett was electric on the wing and had his greatest impact when we really needed it.

Patrick Ryder simply confirmed himself as the best young tall defender in the game. Barely loses a contest, and was the architect of many of our successful forays forward. Kicked a nice goal himself as well.
