2. Deledio tried hard despite getting close attention and being constantly dragged back to the square, got caught out a few times on the rebound when a turnover would see his man get on the end of the play before he could get back.

seriously? i thought he was as bad as connors today. He was outmarked and got suckered into reacting...he is much better than what he showed today. Although there was a lot of dis-interested players out there today.

I agree with you on this. Connors still had the 3rd highest amount of effective kicks after Morton (2nd) and Scotland (1st) So even though he butchers some, the others are spot on. No idea why their is this anti Connors thing going on.

When we were in the game he constantly turned it over. I don't think he hit a target in the 1st quarter.

Seriously you have no clue. Edwards was one of our best today. One of the only ones who got the ball run forward and used it well. Delivered a bullet at the start of the game to Post right in front of me....if you cannot see it open your eyes and stop judging him on previous seasons.

Was at the game and I can tell you that not many of them were from poor efforts from teammates. You don't kick out on the full because of your teammates, you don't drop your head and give up on the chase because of your teammates, you don't stop running and point to your teammate to cover because you can't be bothered pushing.

bingo, you can tell who has watched connors live and who hasnt. Live you can see just how much of a cheat he really is. I didn't go today RT but was he hanging off the contest on his own with hands on hips gasping for breath like a fat unconditioned amateur OUTSIDE the corridor like he does most other games?

Was a bad game by Connors today, but i wouldnt go as far to say he is a lazy cheat. He got enough of the ball but he just wasted it so many times.

Weren't Gourdis and O'Rielly like 100% kicking efficiency for a large portion of the match? Can't see how Connors was 3rd highest in effective kicks.

Lids was heavily tagged by Carrazzo today when he managed to get off of the tag he was dragged back to the square by Betts or Garlett or Henderson. As for Tuck 26 possessions 77% eff 2 clangers 7 tackles despite being tagged early on and then being moved back so he could give the backline a hand in the last quarter.

After the Love child thread I made sure I paid attention to him today and was getting increasingly frustrated watching him put in a half assed chase only to give up after 10m, in fact the only time I saw him run hard was when it looked like he'd get a touch. Definitely a one way player at the moment.

yep, once you watch him closely and see what he's like off the ball you can finally understand just how far off he really is.

Connors had 17 kicks overall with only 8 effective, as a rebounding HBF you can't afford to miss the target with half of your kicks coming out of the backline because the turnover kills your teammates who are trying to provide an option coming out of the backline as well.

I didnt think his game was bad last week. So i really cant answer why he was dropped.

All i know is that McGuane is a liability with the ball in his hand and Moore doesnt do as much as people give him credit for.

Hey Baazar, do you really think Connors disposal is as efficient as Cotchins ?
Based on stats McMahon had good disposal efficiency to , what this efficiency doesn't take in mind is whether the disposal is under pressure or not and that's what shits me about mcmahon and Connors, without pressure their disposal is still shit !

Connors had 17 kicks overall with only 8 effective, as a rebounding HBF you can't afford to miss the target with half of your kicks coming out of the backline because the turnover kills your teammates who are trying to provide an option coming out of the backline as well.

He is 4.5% under the team average for the year. Not great, but nothing to cop the crap he is getting. And if he is so bad then why hasnt he been dropped?
