with Hawthorn having Barker out and their Full Forward being only small i cant see y we would need Miller in defence. hopefully Whelan is back to play on Mark Williams and then we should be able to cover their tall forwards with Bizz, RIvers, Fergy and Wheatley(hopefully)

also if Jamar is ready he will take Johnsons spot but i'd like 2 see Sylvia get another game. he needs to get some actual time in the middle not just floating around in the forward line

Solid game...good to win that sort of cr@p game. Bit worried about our kicking to our forwards though...it all well and good to kick it long and get in quickly, but we've got to kick to our forwars advantage, rather then make them try and get big pack marks all the time.

He was better than Rivers last night.

Unfortunately for us we played mediocre.

Rivers let Perrie take too many marks inside 50 for my liking.

To beat Hawthorn we will have to play much better than we did last night.

3 - Holland (Please give him credit where credit is due. He was great last night, scored a brilliant snap, set up several others through quick handballs and tap ons and had a match high 7 tackles.)

2 - Brown (Got a fair bit of the ball, provided plenty of run as opposed to last week where he ran off his opponent but got 7 kicked on him. Actually kicked 2 little beauties, which were vital in a low scoring game.)

1 - Bizzell (The general down back, although I'd like to see the replay and see how he went man-on-man. I noticed he was playing on Thommo when he went forward, and Thommo had 25 touches and 3 shots on goal.)

Horrible game to watch but good result.

3 - Bizzell (Played "Mr Versatile" on a number of opponents and provided a lot of drive from half back)
2 - McDonald (Gave a solid 4 qtr effort in the middle and won plenty of the hard ball)
1 - Holland (Worked so hard, kicked a goal, presented but was kicked to poorly and set up a number of other opportunities)

I thought Godfrey, Heffernan and Williams all had their best games I've seen for a while. Also, Ferguson and Riv were solid down back but a bit under strengthed in the one on ones and Davey really gave us a spark and some excitement when we really needed it.

Green and McLean just missed out.
Bell wasn't in the running for votes, but showed just how good he'll be.
Bizzell got a lot of it, but had no opponent for most of the game.
