Really tough splitting the top three. Could basically throw a blanket over them. All very, very good in their different way.

POTY
5. Thompson (last two weeks outstanding - literally willed us through the game and over the line when things were tough)
4. Goodwin (all class - his reading of the play and decision making really is immaculate)
3. Henderson (awesome - perfect linkman leading up to wing and then also had hurt factor kicking three goals)
2. Dangerfield (slow to start, quite a few frees against for HTB, but you just can't keep him down and he also imposed himself on the game through sheer force of will)
1. Tippett (stood up when the game needed to be won)

BTM
3. Thompson
2. Reilly (took out opposition key midfielder and did lots of useful work in close to generate drive)
1. Dangerfield

ROTY
3. Henderson
2. Jaensch (energetic, skilful and a great finisher)
1. Walker (kicked one - should have had five!)

Interesting how the coaches saw it, votes from AFLCA;

West Coast v Adelaide
9 Scott Thompson (Adel)
5 Scott Stevens (Adel)
5 Kurt Tippett (Adel)
4 Brent Reilly (Adel)
3 Patrick Dangerfield (Adel)
3 Mark Le Cras (WCE)
1 Adam Selwood (WCE)

I'd say Craig went
5 Thompson (clearly BOG)
4 Reilly (given a job and did it)
3 Stevens (suprising to say the least)
2 Le Cras (important in second quarter and kept competing)
1 Selwood (battled all day)

and Woosher
5 Tippett (difference in last quarter)
4 Thompson
3 Danger (killed 'em after 1/4 time)
2 Stevens (again a surprise - obviously gains respect fans don't see)
1 Le Cras (as above)

But I'm only guessing

Iinteresting Goodwin & Hendo didn't feature (even Rosa from WCE)

POTY
5) Thompson - Great game from Thommo, has really hit top form of late.
4) Tippett - Battled hard all day and really stood up when we needed him in the last
3) Henderson - Knew he had potential, but didn't realise how quickly he'd stand up, love this kid.
2) Dangerfield - Really stood up in the last quarter and won some important clearances, oh and that goal was pretty special, should have received a nom for goal of the week, certainly better than Garlett's.
1)Goodwin - Another solid game, will certainly go out at the top of his game.

BTM:
3) Davis

I reckon this is how it would have gone in the coaches votes:

Craig
5 - Stevens
4 - Thompson
3 - Dangerfield
2 - Reilly
1 - Tippett

Worsfold
5 - Thompson
4 - Tippett
3 - Le Cras
2 - Reilly
1 - Selwood

I am not surprised to see Stevo in the coaches voting, I would have had him easily in my top 5, I am honestly surprised to see no love for him reflected in the voting.

He took 12 marks in defense and I recon at least 8 were taken from kicks that came from the boot of a West Coast player, I thought he was one of our strongest defensively in that game.

Not sure how Dogga figured in the voting considering that unless I am mistaken his opponent (who I am pretty sure was Le Cras) nearly won West Coast the game off his own boot.

5. Thompson
4. Dangerfield
3. Goodwin
2. Stevens
1. Tippett
