Liked Hartigan and Roachs game though good to see confidence in both of them.

Disagree.

Pettifer was either on the bench or played in a forward pocket and getting poor delivery.

What he should be told is that he is going to play midfield for the next 10 weeks and then be judged accordingly.

He had absolutely no chance tonight.

I've been advocating for Pettifer to be given a fair go, thrown to full-forward to prove his worth. I think midfield is way out of his league and to put him there would be denying giving a go to someone who has a chance of making a fist of it.
I still believe he can become a good goal sneak which is one of many things the team desperately needs, but after watching him more closely than usual tonight my optimism has been dented. Before he can be a lair he needs to do the simple things like not let his opponent run off him and set up more scoring chances as a backman than he does as a forward.
He doesn't ever seem to be enjoying playing. I think he will be one of a few to make way for some new blood next week.

Final Votes for Round 4

5 - Andrew Krakouer 31

Mark Coughlan 2
Chris Newman 2
Brent Hartigan 1

Krakouer's best on ground moves him to outright thrid behind new leader Brown and second placed Johnson. Tivendale and Hall open their accounts and an impressive debut by Roach sees him receive a fourth best and two votes.

Andrew Krakouer - 10
Wayne Campbell - 5
Joel Bowden - 5
Greg Tivendale - 4
Matthew Richardson - 3
Brad Ottens - 3
