1) Daniel Kerr - Nah yeah your right, drop him to the WAFL. Idiot.
2) Nic Naitanui - Cleaner then most our mids with the ball
3) Eric Mckenzie - Slow and lethargic but deserves his praise.
4) Beau Waters - Minimal clangers this week
5) Jack Darling - Darls is an animal

Scooter misses out unfortunately

One player who i thought DID have a good game was Josh Hill. Usually i don't by into all his fanboy rubbish and 1 handed gangster attempts at the footy but i thought every one of his touches was clean and smart. He only had a handfull but every time i screamed at the tv to do something he generally did it.

5. Kerr
4. Mackenzie
3. Scooter
2. Waters
1. Cox

Not enough love for Josh Hill. IMO changed the momentum of the whole game early in the 2nd half by kicking a goal and setting one up straight after. IMO his burst won us the game.

Made the ball look dry.

Hill deffently has that spark which can get us going, deffently did that on the weekend.

Not sure if posted already, Coaches votes:

West Coast vs Hawthorn

10 Daniel Kerr (WC)

8 Beau Waters (WC)

5 Brad Sewell (Haw)

3 Sam Mitchell (Haw)

2 Jack Darling (WC)

2 Eric MacKenzie (WC)

Weren't Mitchell and Kerr head to head?

Interesting that Mitchell gets votes when his opponent was BOG

I think you'll find that, except for where hard tags are applied, a true 'head to head' centre square midfield match-up is a rarity these days (despite implictions on the commentary otherwise) and they rotate heavily who they stand alongside at stoppages. So whilst Mitchell no doubt spent time playing on Kerr who clearly was the most influential mid he also would have spent time on Priddis, Shuey, Masten and Scooter who didnt yield the same influence.

Hard to question this.

Darling stood up very well in a pressure game as our best forward. Great signs.

Hill as others have mentioned did very well - he was ignored early or could have had a bigger impact.

In round 1 Darling received 2 votes.
In round 2 Darling received 5 votes.
In round 4 Darling received 2 votes.

Not big votes but very impressive that he has polled in three of our four matches (and the coaches consider him top 5-6 on the ground). Wow! Not bad for the nineteen year old.
