POTY
5. Tyson Edwards - Again IMHO best on ground. His hands in close and his work in the traffic is nothing short of sensational. He is about the only player that can find his way out of traffic consistently. Used the ball well as always and kicked a couple of goals.
4. Simon Goodwin -VERY unlucky not to be given BOG. Played a great game with another 30 possesions game. Clearence work was once again exceptional and that kick to Roo on the lead in the 4th when he was under pressure was all class
3. Brett Burton - Another one that is unlucky not to be higher up in the votes. Exceptional game by Birdman kicking 5 goals inclusing a couple of absolute rippers. GREAT GREAT game.
2. Graham Johncock - He is in AA form. Exceptional in defence again. Provides a lot of run out of the backline and generally keeps his opponent under control. His work in congested pack situations is a pleasure to watch.
1. Matthew Bode - Say what you like but this little fella just keeps proving all the doubters VERY VERY wrong. Best reader of the ball off hands on the list and will fight for it to the very end. Always puts his body on the line and goes in hard. Kicked 3 goals but should have had 4 if it wasn't for the unfriendly post.
Best Team Men
3. Nathan Van Berlo - When the going get tough, the tough get going. He was absolutely inspirational down when the game was on the line. His attack on the man and the ball is second to none. In the last 5 minutes he did 5 tough, hard, courageous things that won us the game. Keep up the good work lad and you just might be a leader of this club in the not too distant future.
2. Nathan Bassett - Not an overly flashy game but I thought his job on Robertson today was fvery good. IMHO, Robbo is Melbourne's best forward and Freddy kept him under control for most of the game.
1. Robert Shirley - Is he in and under or what. Great effort in the pack today.
Rookie

) eat their words, with some great crumbing up forward and fierce tackling.
