I think Welsh and Watson are a bit harder to separate than some seem to think.

Jobe was absolutely brilliant today. Kicked brilliantly and was unstoppable in contested situations. 41 quality touches.

Take nothing away from Andrew Welsh though. Took Pendlebury to the cleaners and played a ripper at the same time.

I thought welsh went missing early but worked his way into the game ok Pendelbury had his measure in the first term.

Huh?

Very, very difficult to choose. Hille was imposing, Lloyd was very damaging playing all over the place reinventing himself as a Half forward, Reimers was exciting, Welsh gave us a good lead, Jobe had more possessions than a miser, Fletcher played his heart out, ..........

I give them all points for a great effort. Sorry, can't separate them.

3. Welsh
2. Hille
1. Watson

Watson had an outstanding game, but his kicking still let him down. Every time Hille went in the ruck we looked so much more dangerous, hence Hille's impact on the result of the game. But today was a genuine team effort. Everybody lifted and did their part. Excellent work.

Special mentions to Lloyd, Monfries, Dyson

For those giving Riemers a vote, don't just remember what happened in the final quarter and forget the rest of the game. Kyle has played much better games than today's. He is improving but today certainly wasn't one of his better games.

13 effective disposals and 3 goals. He's worthy of a vote. Plus he turned the game on its head. He kicked 3 goals in a row did't he? Either side of 3/4 time?

Not sure if ke kicked 3 consecutive goals but certainly at least 2. Thought he was unusually quiet in the first 3 quarters. Noted that he had been quite poor and then he turned it on in the 4th quarter which was pleasing. Dont think he deserved a vote today. Probably wouldnt have him in the top 10 in fact.

3 Gus
2 Welsh
1 Watson

i gave Gus the 3 because the player that kills us every time we play Collingwood is Heath Shaw and he kept him to 10 possessions and Shaw had no impacted on the game. Plus Gus had 14 touches, 2 goals, 3 inside 50's and a goal assist.

I thought Dyson had his best game for the club. Unlucky to miss out on votes.

I just can't believe how good Welsh is playing. He is playing like Hirdy. Centre/pack clearances, contested footy and tackling...and now goals.

It was 3 Bombers goals in a row I think he kicked. Played very well.

Plus, to have just 12 disposals and kick 3 goals - earning 100 Super Coach points, he must have been pretty effective with his disposals - playing in the pocket all day as well so didn't really expect him to rack up a huge number of possies.

Porplyzia, kicked 5 goals for Adelaide, and had about 12 possies as well - he got 95 SC points.
