5. Stevens - quiet first half, but stood up when we needed a leader. Relished the opportunity of captaining the side with a great 2nd half. Went hard at the ball all day long.
4. Waite - the match up of Waite on Richo was the key to this match. Stopping Richo takes you a massive way to winning the match, and he did it beautifully. Had his measure the entire match, whether it be down back or in the middle. Quietest game I remember from Richo in a while, and Waite was a huge reason for this.
3. Gibbs - He's having a great month, and today he was excellent. Started on Deledio and was beaten early. Moved off him and went into playing a completely different style of game. He was given license to roam around the ground and he looked fantastic. His disposal is absolutely fantastic, as is his ability to find space when there was none. Kicked 3 goals today which were absolutely invaluable. He'll be a special player
2. Murphy - he's a great little player. Finds the ball, and heaps of it. Just keeps running and running to create an option through the middle. A tough nugget in the clearances, too. Just needs to work on his disposal a bit, because it is letting him down.
1. Wiggins - Wiggles is becoming a crowd favourite, and continues to be an important player for us. Sure, doesn't have a lot of skill, but he well and truly makes up for that with 110% commitment and effort all the time. Isn't consistent within games, but has the uncanny ability to pop up when we need him most as an option across the half forward line with a strong grab. Some of his marks today were exceptional.
