They were injured
Dyson has had plenty of chances and continues to fail. Will be likely to get a game next week due to our enormous amount of injuries.

I'm saying that they contributed less than Dyson. I know they were injured, and perhaps I'm being harsh, but slating a player you (not you personally) don't like after a good game.

Dyson has had plenty of chances and continues to fail. Will be likely to get a game next week due to our enormous amount of injuries.
I'm well aware they were injured. They still contributed less to the team than Dyson. Why weren't they in no1's worst 3, but Dyson, who played well, was.
Deserves a game, injuries or not, based on yesterday's performance.

I would have to disagree with your minuses. Laycock had 5 shots on goal, unfortunately he had a buddy day with his kicking. Dyson i thought contributed decently, did some nice things. NLM was pretty bad but to say he cant defend is basically saying you barely see him play, he is usually reliable with his disposal as well.

NLM's "defensive work" cost us at least 6 goals. I don't expect him to stop every one of them, but he should have been at least marking his man. It is not that hard a concept- you mark YOUR man. Pretty simple concept and one NLM struggled with a bit against Richmond.
Yes he had a poor game but he has had a decent year in defence, he did an excellent job on Mark Williams and was great against Tarrant, he has played more good than bad games this year.

NLM was one of our worst.
Dyson was far from it, and Laycock depends on your point of view. You're excessively harsh on Ricky after Saturday. He played well, and earnt his spot.

Ryder was a freak, covered for a lot of mistakes from NatRat, Mal and anybody else who couldn't track with their man correctly.
Funny how 5 to 6 weeks ago everybody was calling for Watson's head, I would say he would have been in most people's best for three or four weeks now. So I would say to lay of the big Lazy confidence is a wired thing.....

Yes for the first time dyson got the ball but does not damage with his disposal, him and NLM got easy kicks in junk time in the back line, yes stants also got some there but he ran hard to also get some good disposals. NLM cost us 2 goals at punt rd end from watching and dyson could only get a game when we had massive injuries. Both are only back up players at best.
These dyson lovers on this site need to watch the game a bit closer and watch his movenment to the ball, to spaces and to oponents. He will be our next project player - 10 years for little or no return, At least Boton had heart and could shut down Goodes and Kouta

I think its fair to say that now Mal is just too slow for it, Chuck him back pocket with Fletch and he'll make a contribution to us other than getting easy goals kicked against him... He can't really handle a strong lead but is unbelievably good during a one on one situation with a high ball and does very well at winning the 1 on 1 contest.
Game time he definitely needs but finding a spot that suits him with his lack of running ability will be harder than getting him back into senior form.
Now would be a great time to chuck Tayte Pears back into the mix, but obviously is injured like the other half of our list.
