im not saying votes, but what did people think of young Reimers game. thought he used it well every time he got it, seemed a bit slow at times, but will only get better with time.

Was good in parts but gave Milne too much. Mine was useless most of the time despite that, but he hurt us with it in the end.

Pears - Good work for a 2nd-gamer!
Watson - Couldn't hit a target last night. I don't understand what it is with him handballing to his teammate's feet?!?! Turnover king.
Stanton - Leigh Fisher killed him in the middle, Stanton still got 2 decent clearances from getting his own ball. Did ok in the forward line, wasn't helped by ordinary disposal to him! Kicked a couple of nice goals. I liked his game!!!
Fletcher - Had a poor night.
Houli - Fanastic, like to see less handballs and more kicking. (I'm ignoring a couple of fumbles)
McPhee - Started off like a house on fire, petered out until some nice work in the 2nd half. Went missing... to the bench I believe?
Monfries - Had a shocker. Running out of chances.
Hille - AWESOME! Awesome in the ruck, awesome round the ground!
Ryder - With the amount of balls that came down to Riewoldt by my calculations Ryder won the contest 4 out of every 5 times. Fanstastic closing speed, reminds me of a young Fletcher!

In all, thought our skills were poor and our discipline and defensive pressure was poor yet we were still able to keep in the game for the most part. The Saints worked for their teammates all night, particularly by shepparding- we didn't.

Knights was outcoached.

Most puzzling aspect of the night: Why was Ryder taken off Riewoldt?

Essendon can't yet put together 4 quarters, they put together 1 quarter last night, hopefully at least a half against the Pies!

This is hypocritical of me as I don't particularly rate statistics as a guide to a player's performance. However, of Hille's 26 hitouts and 18 touches, I would've thought the majority were effective and advantageous to the team's endeavours of pushing forward and scoring goals. The fact that they didn't result in goals was the issue of flooding, Knights refused to open up the forward line, as soon as Lloyd went off the ground there was space in the forward line... Knights brought him back on and there was more congestion than a Indian train. As I mentioned earlier Knights was out-coached.

As for clearances, Watson gave away more handballs to nobody that resulted in turnovers than I care to remember.

I admit, he was tagged last night but only when he played in the middle (which is fair enough)... and Fisher absolutely teared him a new ring-piece. Half his possessions were cheap, kicked 2 very good goals and tried very hard, but a vote... err... 2 votes?
