Might as well get this started...

5 - Matthew Scarlett (kept Barry Hall in check)
4 - Cameron Ling (a calming influence with his possessions)
3 - Steve Johnson (key goals in the third term)
2 - Brenton Sanderson (a rock in the back)
1 - Gary Ablett Jr. (what a clutch goal at three-quarter time)

Honourable mentions to lots of players... David Wojcinski, Steven King, Darren Milburn, James Bartel and Shannon Byrnes (great goal on his debut) among them.

Your votes?

Peter Riccardi was clearly BOG until he got injured in the 2nd quarter.

His disposal on the other hand was anything but calming. Made me quite tense actually. :)

5. Matthew Scarlett - yet another scalp
4. Darren Milburn - Reliable as always
3. Charlie Gardiner - by far his best game for the club
2. James Bartel - racked up touches
1. Steve Johnson - miracle goals

Apologies to GAJ, Graham, Sanderson. And I must congratulate Monty Byrnes on a fine debut. I heard somewhere he had only half a dozen touches but 8 tackles.

5 Sanderson
4 Ling
3 Milburn
2 Bartel
1 Gardiner

Couldn't really include Scarlo, he didn't play badly or was a poor performer but probably did no more than break even with Hall who was playing up the field.
