5. Shuey
4. Kennedy
3. Rosa
2. The Frenchman
1. Butler

I got a chubby after that game...

5. Kennedy - 5 I50's as well as 15 marks (5 contested) to go with you know what.
4. Shuey - seeing the confidence this guy has to evade a tackle and kick on his non-preferred is something else.
3. Lecras - warming to the idea of him spending more time in the middle (especially if it means he still gets 6 shots at goal)
2. Butler - Hurn? who needs him :D
1. Naitanui - the little things he does have such an impact.

Cox, Rosa, Embley, SSelwood & Darling and a big plus to Masten, 50 odd DT points in a quarter and a bit of football, all unlucky.

The first 3, I thought were clearly the best. It was an absolute joy to see line breaking, damaging mids getting so much of the ball and creating so much play ... Probably should mention Rosa as well, he was very good.

On Butler, he must be officially the "safest" player on our list, he gets the ball and you just relax a bit knowing its in good hands ...

Agree with all of that. Not only was it great to see some genuine creative, attacking forward movements, but seeing Cox tap it down the throat of Kerr who handballed over his head to Priddis, sending us inside 50 with a mark to Nicoski brought back memories of the '05/'06 era. As did the clearance where Naita roved his own tap, handballs to Lecca who draws a players, sends it to Masten running past, who gives it to a fast-moving Embley, sends it long and direct to the square and it's marked by Cox. Orgasmic.

Interesting that on a day where our top damaging mids fired the bloke who was left behind a little bit was Priddis;)

On topic.

5 - Lecras
4 - Kennedy
3 - Shuey
2 - Kerr
1 - Rosa

HM's to Butler, Embley, Cox, Schofield and Lynch.

5- Kennedy ..obviously
4- Shuey ..how many mids kick 5 to go with 27 touches?
3- Embley ..seems to have been underrated on here.32 touches and 2 nice goals
2- LeCras ..loved seeing him in the middle, also kicked 3 goals
1- Rosa ..gave great run and good disposal..at last has got my love

Finally got to actually see the game today. What a demolition! Well done gents.

Wow I didnt see it coming either. I wasn't on the Bulldogs this year, but their efforts were deplorable in this game.

Could have pulled votes out of a hat really. Minus Ebert of course. He played forward of centre in a team that won by 20 goals and he still looked bad. Anyway, enough of the pessimism.

5. Kennedy - Showed what he's actually capable of. Brilliant.
4. Shuey - Incredible composure, confidence and skill. Dominant.
3. LeCras - The man is sheer class. With big numbers he's our most damaging player.
2. Embley - Really turned back the clock. Popped up everywhere.
1. Darling - Good 4 quarter effort. I don't wanna be tackled by this guy.

Again, everyone but Ebert i couldn't be happier with. :thumbsu:
