Jones fwd play was much needed. When you have talls & Ryan jumping at everything, it was a site to see Jones crumb a goal.
We'll need a big game from Shep & Gov against port.

Rotham for looking so damn dependable and with a lovely kick on him and Jones, not just for his three goals and pressure but for actually understanding crumbing, given no one else in our team seems to.

I can't believe this is the second match in a row vs the Bulldogs that we have thrown a win in the toilet. Would have been a realy good win with our depleted midfield too. oh well. Boys are gonna have to find a way to snag one to make up along the journey.

Kelly and Sheed did OK again. Not the cleanest of work from either, but certainly got the their hands dirty. Sheed you expect it's going to be pretty gritty. Would like to see a bit more polish on Kelly ala some of the ball movement against the Suns from R1. Need at least Shuey back to add some quality into the midfield. Obviously Yeo too, but let's see how that goes.
Also plenty to like about Darling and Jones up forward. It's his first multiple goal game at AFL level so not gonna lose our s**t yet, but if Jones can build on this, that is another cog in a seriously dynamite forward line with JK, JD, The Grouch and Flyin'. Could even allow us to pinch hit Ryan in the midfield for a few minutes here and there to see what he can do.
