May as well get this out of the way...

5. Darren Milburn
4. Gary Ablett
3. Kent Kingsley (although I thought Harris played him very well)
2. Cameron Mooney (If it wasnt for the 3 early Skipper goals would have been pushing 4-5)
1. Peter Riccardi (Got another year left Pete?)

Peter Riccardi? You have to be kidding.
He was SMASHED by Eagleton. I would have expected that it was obvious to all sitting on the pine and at the ground that the person coming on to play Eagleton would have to play close and shut him down. Eagleton tore him a new one. He was by no means the worst, but he did not deserve votes either.

While Ablett was good and one of our better players, his opponent, Griffen gave him a bath, and was close to best on ground.

Each to their own, im sure he didnt have Eagleton all day.

You could technically say that about all my votes.

Skipper dominated Mooney early, Ablett had an interesting battle with Griffen 27 possessions and 3.2, Kingsley kicked 4 from 4 opportunites but Harris defended him very well, Milburn was used in a variety of roles and probably was our only winner on the day. Riccardi got 15 odd possession and 6 tackles something the team did very poorly on the day.

Anyway, can't see your votes

While you may be right about Riccardi being smashed by Eagleton (I couldn't really pick up who it was playing on him given how much space he seemed to have), I see this as another poor coaching move quite similar to that of having Joel Corey play wide of Akermanis for the whole game against Brisbane. When a player is cutting us up, for goodness sake Bomber, swallow your pride and put a hard tag on them before they do any more damage.

EDIT: I got carried away with my rant and forgot my votes. It's tough but I would go with 5. Ablett, 4. Mooney, 3.Milburn, 2. Kingsley and 1. Bartel.

It appears so. But unfortunately, it has been a weakness of ours and when you come up against gun midfields like West Coast's, we're going to have to find a player or two who can win the ball and stop their opponent at the same time. Right now we're struggling in that area.

5- Milburn- Was probably our best and had a stiff Free kick payed against for a push in the back when the game was getting close as Geelong was making a 'charge.

4- Mooney- Played well. Yes Skipper had the better of him initially but Mooney played a decent game. Had a cheap free kick given against him, then gave a bulldog player a love tap on the face and had a 50m given away. I think he has been our best over the past month, or would be up there in the top 5.

3- Ablett. Didnt give up, even though beaten by his opponent. Slipped over at least 5 time though which was abit of a worry. I know the surface has been under some pressure, but it seemed mainly the Geelong players slipping.

2-Kingsly. 4 kicks, 4 marks, 4 goals. Good ol' kent, looking for his 50 next week agaisnt the bombers

1- Scarlett. Could have gone to Corey or Bartel i thought.

5 - Me for having to turn up and watch that cr@p.
4 - My beef, cheese and bacon burger, god I was hungry and that really hit the spot
3 - CUB, nothing like a heavy at the football
2 - Milburn, didnt quite do as much as my cheese and bacon burger but he had a go.
1 - Mooney, okay so the Skip kicked a couple on him early, unlike the rest of the boys who dropped their heads and sulked around all day, he got in and had a go.
