Also how good was it today to see the guys running the ball (through the corridor!) and linking up well. The backline got beaten for quality as we knew they would, the midfield were smashed early before getting into the game and the skills weren't great, but it was good footy to watch in that late 2nd and 3rd term.

Micky O (who was in great form coming in) only had it a few times in the first half.

Then, after being moved onto Hall, nullified him in the 2nd half, only kicking 1 I think.

Not to mention he did a bit going the other way too, Garland was great.

Three goals but didn't get much of it, only half a dozen or so touches, but chased hard and harassed pretty well.

If he can kick three every week, no-one is going to complain too much.

I'm not sure he was that great, but maybe it is because of his recent outstanding performances my standards for him are high. I wouldn't say he nullified Hall - Barry dropped a few marks and then sat on the bench once the game was secure.

How was Wona today ? Didn't see any of the game.

I suppose you could say he had a bit of an off day, but we only had about 30 inside 50's and he was playing pretty deep. He chased hard and managed to kick 3 goals, but when he kicked one there was no massive celebration, it was a bit of a strange one. I certainly wouldn't be giving him votes.

EDIT: Just checked the stats, he only had 5 touches so his game can be summed up pretty easily - did his job in kicking 3 but didn't get involved enough.

EDIT the second: It hurts me to say this, but I prefer to watch Jamar play in the ruck than Jeff White, and if we can't get PJ up forward and have to pick two of the 3 in the ruck, I'd probably go with Jamar and PJ, I'd like to see White gone. That is all.

2 - Miller. Good effort, finally stringing some solid performances together. No longer keen for him to get delisted/traded.

the whole team deserves a pat on the back for not throwing it in after they got the jump on us in the first quarter. Too many times this year we've been a bit off at the start and then been pummelled. Nice to see us get within a couple of goals and even though we didn't win, it's the type of performance that will give the whole squad a bit more confidence.

Wouldn't rate Dunn this highly. He had two opportunities to run in and provide a spoil in Sydney's forward line but backed out. He should be dropped if he's not going to put his body on the line for his team especially when the game is in reach.
